Keep Calm

We Print Full Colour Beermats!

Over the years we must have printed millions of beermats. Here is just a sample of the type of print promotion we have produced...

Inspired by the famous war time slogan "Keep Calm And Carry On". NRG Digital are producing our very own "Keep Calm And Carry On" beermat ! When Tony at Century Films asked us if we wanted to advertise on the back of his beermat - we of course said yes. But, we thought.. "What can we put in our advert that will stand out and maybe get a laugh?" So why not a version of the famous wartime "Keep Calm And Carry On" slogan? Plus if we put a web page on for people to click on it will drive potential customers to our website! And here you are, so,  if you have a business and need some ideas (or beermats) that will stand out get in touch today.

The true story behind the beermat......

Had the Germans went through with "Operation Sea Lion" and invaded Great Britain in 1940, our government proganda department were ready with morale boosting posters urging the country to stay calm ! more

Amazingly the crown copyright (which only lasts 50 years) has since expired on this cult slogan and we are able to produce a modern version in the shape of a beermat!

The true story behind Sid James

On 26 April 1976, while on a revival tour of The Mating Season, a 1969 farce by the Irish playwright Sam Cree, legendary Carry On comic Sid James suffered a heart attack on stage at the Sunderland Empire Theatre. The technical manager (Melvyn James) called for the curtain to close and requested a doctor, whilst the audience (unaware of what was happening) laughed, believing the events to be part of the show. He was taken to hospital by ambulance, but died about an hour later. James, aged 62, was cremated and his ashes scattered at Golders Green Crematorium.

Later it was rumoured that Sid James's ghost haunted the dressing room he occupied on the night of his death. After one experience during an engagement there, the comedian Les Dawson refused to play the venue again. He never revealed why and would not talk on the subject.

So remember the next time modern life gets on top - Keep Calm And Carry On !
